As children began writing never-ending Christmas lists to Santa, we invited parents to have an important conversation about gift-giving and ask their children which present they’d go without for a child who has nothing.
Act for Kids’ One Less Present Christmas movement asked Australians to give up a gift and donate its value to Act for Kids to help children who have suffered abuse and neglect.
We received overwhelming support during Christmas and New Years and are so excited to share with you that our One Less present campaign received enough donations to provide 1,063 hours of therapy for vulnerable kids in need. Because of you, 88 children will receive the life-changing therapy they need to overcome their trauma.

The therapy that will be delivered to children across Australia will be a step in the right direction to give these children the safe and happy childhoods they deserve.
